... to everyone who voted for us and came to watch us - we won the competition, and receive an Epiphone guitar (which Lor has claimed), champagne (which Tash has claimed), and £1,000 (which Johann... says the band will use for recording).
We couldn't have done it without your support, and we are grateful for it. Look out for some new recordings from us soon!

Thank you to everyone who voted for us yesterday. We were the winners in Tuesday's round of the competition, and now go through to the final on Friday!
There is no voting for this final round of the competition, but as it will be judged by a panel, a responsive audience will do us no harm, so do come down if you can!

Thank you to everyone who supported us in the Live and Unsigned competition through coming to the final, voting for us by text or by emailing your support. We didn't make it through to the national finals, unfortunately, but we are happy with our performance and got some good feedback from the judges so we're not overly disappointed - there will be more and we're so glad you'll be there with us!
After a successful performance at the semi finals, Brown:music are through to the regional finals (London) of this year's Live & Unsigned competition!
We need more people than before to come and support us for the final, as you get more points the more supporters you have, and the competition is bound to be more intense at this stage. Winners go through to the national final for a chance of winning investment into the band! As a bonus, this performance will be on a Saturday, so you will definitely be able to make it. :)
As before, the regional finals are being held at Fairfield Hall in Croydon, but at the earlier time at 6.30pm on the 19th Apr. Tickets are once again £6, and you can get them from us... click here to email us and reserve your tickets!

Well we are having a great time on the tour supporting Take That. We have already performed at Birmingham NEC, Glasgow SECC, Manchester MEN arena and a big highlight for us, the O2 arena which is now the biggest arena in the UK!! We have had great feedback so far regarding our performances from Take That fans, the Tour band and Crew and even the TT lads themselves who have all watched some of our set. Thank you to everyone who has attended some of the gigs and sent us your messages & comments and requests for the EP. Drop a comment on our my space www.myspace.com/brownmusicuk.

Follow this link to see more photos and even a video clip of a bit of backstage banter. It's been such an exciting end to the year for us, here's hoping for even more in 2008. Best wishes for a peaceful & fun-filled New Year.
Brown:Music have been given 4 U.K dates as second support act to successful comeback boys Take That on their forthcoming tour.
The tour means that Tash, Loretta and Johann will be playing to a potential combined audience of over 60,000 people. The opportunity came after the Take That boys decided they wanted to support unsigned talent and each member chose bands they like, to play for a few dates each. Brown:Music are one of Jason Orange’s choices. Tash has vocal coached Jason for almost 2 years in preparation for their comeback tour & No:1 album of last year as well as ‘The Beautiful World Tour’ of the UK & Europe starting this month.
Jason has always been supportive of Brown:Music, attending quite a few of their London gigs but although a friendship had developed between him and the band they were massively surprised when he asked them. Tash says, ‘I just couldn’t believe it' when Jason asked me if we’d be interested. I was so in shock that I didn’t say anything at first and he asked me if I wanted to ask Lor and Johann and think about it. I finally managed to find my voice and said I was pretty confident the others would be more than up for it!'
It is an amazing and exciting opportunity for Brown:Music and Loretta says they are determined to make sure they are ready for it. Once we got over the shock, fear kicked in and we realised we had a lot of work to do. So, we’re rehearsing like mad, we have a brand new website and we’ve been recording new tracks.
The Brown:Music flavour will be enhanced by including a few additions to the line-up by way of an upright Bass player and a Percussionist. Johann explains that they’re keen to maintain their acoustic vibe. ‘Because we’re going to be performing on much bigger stages than we’re used to, we don’t want to be swallowed up by the space but still aim to stay true to Brown:Music’s unique sound and we think we can do that by adding Bass and Percussion.’
You can keep up to date with Brown:Music’s progress on the tour by regularly checking the website: www.Brownmusic.co.uk
The dates Brown:Music are performing are:
Saturday 17th November – Birmingham NEC Arena
Friday 23rd November – Glasgow SECC Arena
Tuesday 4th December – London O2 Arena
Saturday 22nd December – Manchester MEN Arena
